The Leicester-based transactional printer and outsourced communications company will produce and dispatch more than 1m mailing packs per annum as part of the deal.

According to Linda Scott, chief executive of OTM, the working relationship with CEN "fits very well with our own approach to the environment as we recognise the impact we have on the environment in our day-to-day operations."

She said: "We are therefore committed to reducing this level of impact wherever possible considering the principals of sustainable development."

The mailing packs will be lasered and digitally printed using OTM's IBM and Xerox iGen presses with Kern enclosing equipment and hand finishing where needed.
