Couple sets up sign company

A new vinyl printing company has been set up in Grimsby to print signs for companies in Lincolnshire.

AutodeSigns was started by a husband and wife team using a Uniform Cadet Plus large-format digital printer.

Managing director Matt Ridley has 14 years’ experience working at other local sign manufacturers, but wanted to take the production in his own direction.

He said: “I was restricted at other places and wanted to move the business forward. I set the departments up at both other firms, so I was running jobs on my own anyway. I thought I might as well be working for myself.”

The company can provide photo-quality printing and has over-wrapped its vans using its own machine to present the kind of work it is capable of.
