Colour World boosts business arsenal

Colour World Winchester is in the middle of a major expansion, having invested in new equipment, staff and floorspace.

The company, which almost doubled its freehold interest from 6,000 to 11,000 square feet last December, recently invested in a new Agfa Accento II platesetter with Apogee workflow and will also take delivery of a new guillotine later this month.

In addition, the firm has appointed two new sales staff, Yvonne Brooking and Dennis Childs, who both join from Romsey Group, which fell into administration last week before its principal assets were bought by Media & Print Investments.

Colour World joint managing director Chris Tyler-Smith said: “While price in this competitive market seems to be king, we have not lost sight of the fact that great service will win clients over time and time again.

“We are also pleased to employ additional highly experienced production staff from the Romsey Group, ensuring the increase in sales still flows through the company as smoothly as ever.”

Colour World is targeting a £3m turnover this year.
