The package, which is available via the firm's website for £149.95, works with Adobe Creative Suite applications InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as QuarkXPress.
Colour-Logic was founded earlier this year following Ciba Coating Effects' decision to shut MetalFX in 2008.
It aimed to fill the gap in the market for producing metallic effects by printing CMYK on top of silver that was left by MetalFX's closure.
The US-based firm was founded by Richard Ainge, the developer of the original MetalFX process.
Unlike MetalFX, Color-Logic's system can be used with digital, flexo and gravure processes in addition to
offset litho. It is also claimed to incorporate new separation technology to produce more photo-realistic results.
The software has been shown at Ipex and Fespa driving Roland DG inkjet printers and originating work produced using Eckart's JetFluid metallic inkjet inks, which are sold by INX.
As with MetalFX, printers are required to buy a licence and be certified to offer the service.
The firm is holding a series of webinars to explain the applications for its new process throughout July and August.
