ColGraphix UK, established in September under business partners and print veterans Dragan Gardasevic and Michael Warnes, inked the deal with Mutoh's UK master reseller Graphtec BG on 1 November.
The firm will now resell the vast majority of Mutoh kit from Graphtec, with the exception of Mutoh’s dye sub printers, which it sources directly from the manufacturer.
The ColGraphix international operation, based in the Netherlands, Germany, and Poland, specialises in digital dye sub printing for the textile industry.
Lawrence Hebron, Graphtec GB’s UK product manager for Mutoh, said he was delighted to have ColGraphix on board as one of the first in a new wave of resellers across the UK.
He said: “While the company itself was only formed earlier this year, the owners have many years of experience selling Mutoh and have previously installed a large number of systems throughout the UK.
“ColGraphix specialises in providing customers with complete printing solutions, including software, consumables, installation and support, and they are a fantastic addition to our reseller network.”
Gardasevic added: “Before Graphtec was appointed as the UK distributor, we were previously dealing directly with Mutoh Europe.
“We are very happy that Mutoh has appointed a company with the reputation and pedigree of Graphtec as its new UK distributor. It will be a huge advantage for us to take potential customers to their substantial demonstration facility.
“In addition. they will be able to hold printers and consumables in stock in the UK, which will ensure fast, accurate and seamless delivery.”
In July 2023, Graphtec GB was appointed Mutoh Europe’s UK distributor for its sign, display, and UV LED product range.
Gardasevic said: “We are very much looking forward to working with Graphtec. They are a company I have known for a long time, and they have a great name and reputation in the business.
“Although ColGraphix is relatively new to the UK, we already have a large customer base of wide-format printing solutions, so we have the experience and know-how to promote and deliver Mutoh products to the market successfully.
