Cogent B2B struck off

Kevin Dunstall’s Cogent B2B business, which he used to acquire St Ives Direct Bradford two years ago, has been compulsorily struck off at Companies House.

The Bradford web printer was subsequently renamed Global MP, but collapsed just nine months after Dunstall bought it, leaving more than £13m of debt and 150 employees out of work.

Administrators from Baker Tilly (now renamed RSM) petitioned for the winding up of Cogent B2B due to a £4m debt between the two related companies.

Restructuring director David Shaw said: “Having established that there was an amount in excess of £4m due to Global MP Limited from Cogent B2B Limited (and this amount having gone unpaid following demand) the petition was presented to wind up the company.

“The Official Receiver has been appointed liquidator and it will be their role to investigate the affairs of Cogent B2B and identify if there are any assets to realise.”

Dunstall was Cogent B2B's sole director. He was made bankrupt in March

Of the 17 companies of which Dunstall is or was a director, 14 are dissolved or in liquidation or administration.

A petition to strike off Limefresh Limited was suspended in June, because the Registrar had received an objection.

The accounts for Solent Life Limited are overdue.

The accounts for Unversal Media Limited are due to be filed on 20 November.
