Managing director Robin East said: "We see the Anapurna M range as ideal for firms that want to get into the rigid market for under £100,000. They are perfect for businesses running solvent machines such as the Mimaki JV3 or Roland DG who are currently mounting and laminating roll-to-roll output."
He added that he saw a definite gap in the market for an affordable flatbed that competed with Océ's Arizona range, and that the Anapurna M2's 22sqm per hour productivity was double that of the target market's solvent machines, providing them with an option to grow their businesses.
East said that the firm would offer a comprehensive package of pre- and post-sales support and training to ensure customers made the most of their investment including an ROI calculator.
"If you're spending nearly £100,000 it's got to work. You hear about firms buying £60,000 machines and eventually switching them off and chalking it up to experience. That's an expensive experience."
CMYUK is selling the M2, the M and the specialist MW with white ink and MV with varnish option.
