Clinical Print steps up its green policy

Clinical Print Finishers aims to become carbon neutral by working with Future Forests to fund the planting of native trees to neutralise the carbon dioxide emitted by its operations.

The Leicester firm calculated that its production processes and electricity and gas use led to it to release 130 tonnes of carbon dioxide a year. Guillotine technician David Clay suggested the project to managing director Alvin Brown.

Clinical is initially sponsoring the planting of 300 new native British trees in woodlands at Grange Farm, near Ibstock.
