CFH buys in Mailsorter on promise of 120,000 annual savings

CFH Total Document Management expects to save its clients over 120,000 a year thanks to a recently-installed Pitney Bowes Olympus II Multi-tier Mailsorter.

CFH has invested almost £500,000 in the new equipment, which meets its requirements for a fast, efficient and reliable sortation platform, capable of maximising postal savings.

CFH managing director Dave Broadway said: “This investment will allow us to maximise Royal Mail discounts and pass on these savings to our clients. We estimate that our largest clients could save over £120,000 annually in postage costs.”

Bath-based CFH, which currently mails between 4m and 6.5m envelopes a month on behalf of its clients, said that it had been very impressed with the performance of Pitney Bowes’ Olympus.

Broadway said: “This investment falls in line with our aim of providing an ever improving service to our customers while continuing to drive down basic costs.”

The Olympus II Multi-tier Mailsorter offers high-speed letter mail processing, optical character recognition (OCR), wide area barcode reading (WABCR) and has the ability to sort Royal Mail Mailsort mailstreams on envelopes from DL to C5+ at weights of up to 132.4g.
