Some 22 companies have joined the scheme since its launch six months ago and so far sent more than 3.2m mailings across 58 campaigns through the scheme.
The scheme grew out of member demand and by grouping the companies' mailing demands, CatEx put out a tender for the work, which was subsequently won by Citipost.
The deal means that members pay the Royal Mail Wholesale Access price and a cost for transport which is cheaper than Royal Mail's volume related discount rates.
John Ellis, sales director of Sunline Direct Mail who was tasked with setting up the service said: "The scheme is a great example of true collaboration, to achieve genuine bottom line savings. With no minimum quantities or contract periods, it allows savings for all members, form the smallest to the largest."
