Canon signs European deal with NexPress

Canon has signed a deal with NexPress for the sales, distribution and service of NexPress black and white digital presses.

The three-year deal covers the Digimaster range of machines that NexPress took on when it acquired Heidelberg Digital in May.

"With Canon's strong brand and consultative approach to business we expect this agreement to help NexPress expand its global customer presence," said NexPress president and chief executive Venkat Purushotham.

Canon previously had a deal with Heidelberg Digital to sell the Digimaster 110 as the ImageRunner 110.
