Brewery rebrand creates print work

Yorkshire beer company Ossett Brewery has undergone a rebrand that has seen the reprinting of its beer bottle labels, pump clips, beer mats and corporate stationery.

The rebrand was designed by Leeds-based advertising agency Gratterpalm and included a new logo, with the tagline 'The Real Ale Revolution'.

Colourscan Imaging will produce around 100 pump clips each month for the company, which will be used at its own venues and other pubs that stock its ales, while The Katz Group will print around 200,000 beer mats each year.

Print buying is negotiated by SIBA (Society of Independent Brewers), and the large volume of beer mats is to cater for Ossett's own venues, other pubs that stock its ales, as well as promotional events such as beer festivals.

Ossett Brewery managing director Mike Inman said: "We wanted to enhance our professional look and feel, and bring consistency across our portfolio of products, venues and corporate material."

As well as the brewery, the company owns 13 pubs and 'The Hop' venues in Wakefield and Leeds.
