BPIF advisory aims to help printers through hard times

A new advisory by the BPIF to guide the print industry through the difficult economic climate will give printers "a competitive edge in a tough market", according to chief executive Michael Johnson.

The BPIF Financial Alliance advisory service groups together the various specialisms within the organisation providing a range of services via an online portal to help combat the challenges posed by the current financial climate.

Commercial finance, business improvement, credit insurance, and tax advice are among the topics offered under the advisory initiative, which was launched in response to printers' fears over the future profitability of the industry.

Johnson said: "Most of our members, to their merit, tell us they remain positive about the current circumstances.

"We will encourage them to use the various advisory services available through the BPIF Financial Alliance to further improve their business and get a competitive edge in an increasingly tough market."
