"It truly is a fully-automatic machine with no mechanical operator settings," said Phoenix managing director John Lucas.

The 600cph binder features a colour touch-screen, three glue tank cylinders for hot or cold glues, side gluing and online creasing of up to six positive or negative creases. It comes with two notching tools as standard with an option for two more.

"When I was told that all I had to do was place the block in the machine and it would set itself I had to see it for myself." said Lucas. "Seeing was truly believing and with automatic cover feeding with scoring and side gluing with rollers it had to be the machine for us." The BB3302 will be exhibited on UK agent Terry Cooper Services' stand at Digital Print World.
