Van Eunen, who joined the family-owned company on 1 February in this newly created role, said having a multilingual manager will let the firm approach international business more easily. He will focus on all major markets outside of the Americas.
Van Eunen has more than 25 years of international sales and product marketing experience in the graphic industry. His most recent role was as sales director at Crest Dutch Machinery, suppliers of laminating and cutting equipment to the sign industry.
Previously he spent over 13 years as global product manager at Ilford Imaging, developing new markets for digital printing and finishing products worldwide.
B&W designs and manufactures a range of cutting products including the Genesis portfolio of multi-tool and laser flatbed and conveyor cutters, the Orion range of cutter plotters and the Mastercut family of flatbed cut and route system and heavy duty cutters.
“The strategy is first of all to get our name known internationally among people in the industry. The momentum is there for the print and display industry to get familiar with the kind of quality and possibilities that the B&W range of machines offers,” said van Eunen.
Van Eunen’s technical background and knowledge of the international graphics and printing industry will help him build on B&W year-on-year global growth, the company said.
