Mark Shaw, chief executive of the large-format and point-of-purchase print group, said the two machines represented an investment of 1.5m out of a total 8m earmarked for upgrading the group's production facilities.
The three-year upgrade plan was announced in September with bezier's 77m sale from private equity (PE) house Electra Partners to PE firm MidOcean Partners.
A Thieme screen press has been installed at Wakefield, while a direct-to-screen imager has been fitted at Bristol.
Shaw said that around 4.5m of the 8m budget would be spent next year and the remainder in 2007.
