Formatted on the Pugpig HTML5 publishing platform, the Grazia app is available free from Newstand and for a weekly subscription of £1.99 readers will get each edition automatically delivered to their iPad every Tuesday.
Subscribers to the iPad version will be able to read all of the content contained in the printed version of the magazine, which has a circulation of more than 190,000.
Additionally a new facility will enable readers to click on products such as clothing, theatre tickets or cosmetics that are advertised in the magazine and instantly buy, save or share them with friends.
Bauer called the new 'shop, share, save' facility a game changer and said it was just the first phase of the iPad edition of the magazine and that extra functionality would be added following initial feedback from readers.
Grazia’s editor-in-chief, Jane Bruton said: "Grazia revolutionised the magazine market when it launched seven years ago, and any extension of the brand has to be equally game-changing.
"Our readers expect so much more than a PDF of Grazia on the iPad and I’m thrilled to be able to offer them something fresh, useful and genuinely different to anything else out there."
Other Bauer magazines launched as ipad versions include Empire, Today's Golfer and Motor Cycle News Sport, and according to the publisher the release of Grazia for iPad is the latest move in its strategy to deliver content across digital multiple devices.
