BASF launches Novaspace ink

BASF Printing Systems has officially launched Novaspace, a four-colour ink set that offers 600,000 more nuances than standard inks.

It uses the firms Hyperspace software, which allows the separation of images into Novaspace CMYK to achieve the maximum colour gamut available.

Fulmar Colour has beta tested the product. Group marketing director Mike Austin said: "BASF recognises that we have got to get higher up the food chain with something extra."
