The new 60pp magazine, Up to Speed, is produced by Cedar, which also handles BA's in-flight magazine High Life. Printed by Astron, around 25,000 copies of the 289x210mm first issue will be sent to BA's 37,000 employees.
The airline's head of internal communications Penny Lawson said: "Our much-loved newspaper has served us well, but many of our staff now expect to read about breaking news as it happens, online, at the same time as wanting the connectedness that a print publication can bring."
The magazine will be edited by Charlotte Swift who was previously at Food and Travel and the first issue includes an exclusive column from chief executive Willie Walsh.
