The Potters Bar-based printer specialises in Hexachrome work, but has seen a downturn in repro.
"The Hexachrome side is still very successful, but the QM46 DI will open a new avenue of print-on-demand business," said Aspire managing director Gareth Sheppard.
Sheppard said the DI was ideal as "it is small and compact" to fit into its 400m2 premises, "and will provide faster turnaround times".
Aspire Print & Repro employs 16 staff and has an annual turnover of around 3.5m.
* Midas Digital Colour has bought a new QM46 DI Pro in a 300,000 investment.
The QM46 DI Pro replaces the companys QM46 DI Plus press, and will be installed in September.
Midas managing director Barry Heath said the DI Pro will complement its existing Heidelberg presses.
