The S-class NexPress is the Essex company's sixth model and has been installed to help Anton serve a burgeoning client base with a growing demand for colour digital.
According to Richard Hargrave, digital production manager at Anton Group, there is a notable difference in quality over existing machines thanks, in part, to a new intelligent calibration system.
"It's easy for a manufacturer to come and say this new machine is the best one yet and it can do this much better, but you can't always tell. However, with the SE3600, we're really seeing the difference with the intelligent calibration system," he said.
The SE3600, which runs alongside a 2100, three 2500s and a 3600, is helping produce a range of work that includes direct mail, point-of-sale and marketing and transactional work for the financial sector.
Hargrave said the increased volume has stemmed from existing customers increasing their digital spend, coupled with the signing of new contracts at the 340-staff group.
"We're doing more work for clients that we previously wouldn't have while an increasing number are migrating some work onto the digital side thanks to the benefits of personalisation," he added.
Hargrave said: "Digital is the fastest growing side of what we do. It's about 10% at the moment, but volumes are growing and we expect that to become a lot more in the future.
"We're always fortunate enough to be offered and want to try the new technology first. In our opinion, Kodak offer the best digital technology we've ever had."
The latest additions to Kodak's NexPress line-up, which were claimed to offer superior offset quality, were revealed earlier in the year and were completed by the SE2500, SE3000 and SE3600 models.
