The Coalville-headquartered company, a PrintWeekLive! headline sponsor, will provide at least seven specialists to answer visitors’ questions at the show, which takes place at the Wasps Arena, Coventry on 8 and 9 March.
Channel director for print, James Jarvis, said that the company will not only stress the importance of the print industry at the show but will also help visitors discover the multitude of opportunities the sector offers.
“It’s about re-engaging with the narrative that print is a really important part of the multi-channel mix,” said Jarvis.
He added: “If our customers don’t succeed, we don’t succeed.”
The stand will also feature a Mimaki CJV150, which will print and cut Drytac SpotOn material, to offer a more practical display of printing innovations.
The five zones will comprise Revenue Generator, Product Innovations, Technical Workshop, Complete Large Format Digital Partner and the Digital Academy.
“In the Revenue Generator section, we’re trying to show off products that we think our customers can print on their equipment that they maybe haven’t considered before. There’s a lot of opportunities out there as well as a hell of a product range available to people,” explained Jarvis.
The Product Innovations zone will display new products customers may not be aware of, such as the new Arjowiggin’s digital range and KernowPrint Metalik.
The Technical Workshop will be headed by technical services manager, Duncan Webster, and will provide visitors with the opportunity to seek technical advice as well as practical help.
The Complete Large Format Digital Partner area allows visitors a chance to scope out this sector before considering future investments or expand product ranges.
Following the recent release of the Digital Academy’s 2017 curriculum, the stand will also display the updated workshops available, including Laminating and Finishing.
Jarvis expects further developments to the Digital Academy as it grows year on year as the demand for specialist workshops increases.
“We have a series of specialists who set up the courses. It’s quite straightforward because we listen to our customers and what the common questions are and then go from there.”
Antalis will also be part of a printing workflow demonstration. The company has collaborated with Xerox and Duplo to make a pack of playing cards as well as a fabricated box of sweets, allowing visitors to follow the process of the jobs as they travel between the stands.
