The Cumbria-based company was involved from the design stage and has a long-standing relationship with Van Mark Food.

The pack was printed using eight-colour flexo printing onto metalised OPP laminate. Matt lacquer coating was also used.

Michael Hoban, UK sales director at Alcan Packaging, said: “Achieving a premium look for the pack was the overall driver for the project. However, other elements remained critical, such as product protection and the ability to retain product freshness.”
