Pro-J3 ink is part of the firm's mix and match Pro brand, which it claims offers exact matching to Mimaki's own ink, enabling users to use the ink without having to flush out the printer first.
It claimed that the inks match Mimaki's for colour, meaning there is no need to reprofile printers using the new inks. It also claimed reduced nozzle blockages, increased life expectancy of the ink feed and better abrasion and chemical resistance.
"Before any of our inks are made available trials are performed across machines, media and application types," said Colorific European sales director Com Garvey. "That's why we are able to offer full hardware and UV fade resistance warranties."
