Two versions of the package will be available, Standard and Premium. The Standard edition includes Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator and InDesign; Premium is enhanced with GoLive and the recently launched Acrobat 7.0 Professional.
Both versions of Creative Suite also include a new visual file browser, Bridge, which allows users to browse, organise and process the files of CS2's various software elements, and those of some third-party products including QuarkXPress.
Other developments include an upgrade of Version Cue, which allows the saving of and return to earlier document versions and an upgrade to InDesign to allow it to place other CS2 native files.
The software giant plans to begin shipping CS2 to Europe late May/early June 2005. The Standard edition will sell for 669 and Premium for 889, the firm is yet to release upgrade pricing.
