The firm's three directors, Alan Broadhurst, Gary Morgan, and Grahame Woakes, visited Heidelberg in Wiesloch for the official handover of the Speedmaster, which incorporates the German press manufacturer's 30,000th SM 74 printing unit.
Woakes said: "We're probably going to have to upgrade our plate manufacturing as well, so we're looking at a Heidelberg Suprasetter at the moment."
Unfortunately, installation of the Speedmaster has had to be delayed due to a problem with the electricity supply.
"We found that the demands of the press actually exceed our current supply," said Woakes. "We're very keen to get the machine in and running, but we can't until we sort out the electricity problem."
When the press does arrive, it will be the firm's first venture into B2. "Our equipment is all B3 at the moment," said Woakes.
