The exact amount of the increase seen by each customer and implemented in each region will be based on local market conditions, while all contractual commitments will be honoured.

According to a company claim Kodak would continue to do all it could to keep a lid on price rises; however, with further energy hikes expected this autumn, there is a concern that consumables increases will come with increasing regularity.

Mohan Garde, vice president and general manager, packaging business, prepress solutions, at Kodak added: "We'll continue to pursue manufacturing efficiencies that will minimise any future pricing impacts for our customer base."
