Cardiff-based 3 Sixty specialises in design and production, including large-format print, for environments including retail, events and exhibitions, interiors and experiences.
BFI tendered for a provider to provide a full service solution for its London Film Festival Expanded exhibition programme.
It was described as “an expansive space for programming, featuring virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality and including live immersive performance”.
3 Sixty was successful in its bid for the £210,000, two-year contract.
Sales and business development director Andy Smith commented: “We do get involved in tenders for our large-format point-of-sale production printing work, but this is the first for an exhibition, so we are very pleased to win it and look forward to working on many others in the future.
“We will be producing two major exhibitions for BFI, from creative to installation including fabrication, printing and de-rigging.”
Smith said that expertise built up over decades had been crucial to the contract win.
“A large factor in winning the contract was down to 3 Sixty’s vast experience in supplying exhibition, visual merchandising, and large-format display products across a wide range of marketing sectors, all managed through our creative production director Leighton Stacey with over 21 years’ industry experience having worked with major blue-chip companies through to SME clients across a wide range of industries,” he added.
3 Sixty has turnover of £4m-plus and employs more than 40 staff.
Earlier this year the company installed the first EFI Vutek FabriVu 340i+ soft signage printer in the UK.
The London Film Festival runs from 4-15 October, while the Expanded exhibition is on from 6-22 October at the Bargehouse, Oxo Tower Wharf, London.
