Bridson & Horrox started in 1933, it’s a family-owned company and Darren Horrox is the third-generation owner. During the early days it was just a winter business as the owner Marshall Bridson had a holiday guesthouse he ran in the summer. The company was then taken over by Ian Horrox (the father of Darren) who took it on to the next level and diversified the company.

What does your firm do? 

All aspects of print. Litho and digital in particular, but we have also diversified into large-format printing

Which areas do you serve?

We serve the Island as a whole, however with the IOM being a financial institution this means we deal worldwide to serve clients’ needs

Which markets do you serve?

With being on an island we tick every box when serving our customers. To us the builder off the street is just as important as a major blue chip

We’re proud of our reputation. History has shown we are market leaders in print, stationery and technology

Our mission is to combine technological innovation with traditional craftsmanship to produce effective marketing communications

A six-colour Manroland litho press with coater and HP Indigo digital kit

Where do you see your business in five years’ time?

We see the future as digital print – we are looking to go fully digital
