Four Films, based in Kuwait, has significantly expanded its Xerox digital print firepower by adding an iGen4 and Nuvera 144 to its existing Xerox 700 digital device, along with XMPie personalisation software and Xerox FreeFlow for automation.
Khaleej Afan Press, a major printing business based in eastern Saudi Arabia, has bought an iGen4 EXP press, and will harness the advantages of its larger sheet size for printing three-up A4 work.
Vice-president and general manager for Xerox Middle East and Africa Marcus Childs said: "Digital print and associated applications are an important growth driver for graphic communications providers in the Middle East."
Russian customers are also providing Xerox with a boom in orders, with sales of colour digital devices reaching double digits.
Art book specialist PrintUp of Moscow is one of the first customers to buy the new iGen 150 model, and director Peter Gach praised its "outstanding quality" as well as the benefits of the 364x660mm sheet size.
The iGen 150 has also found favour with an unnamed Danish financial services organisation, which will drive it via an EFI Fiery EX print server, producing cross-media marketing materials in combination with XMPie software.
