Rafferty has previously held roles at Friedheim International, Domino Printing Sciences and Video Jet, and will now work within Xeikon's document printing markets.
He said: "I have enjoyed a number of sales roles handling a variety of digital print-based product.
"I am looking forward to transferring those sales skills into the digital press arena, where I firmly believe that Xeikon products provide a significant opportunity for printers that are seeking high-quality, colour-capable web fed products."
Patrick Van Baelen, European sales director of Xeikon’s document printing portfolio, added: "I am convinced that Les will prove to be a tremendous asset to the team, and will further strengthen Xeikon’s presence on the ground in the UK."
