Managing director Ian Wright said he decided it was important the Rotherham-based company demonstrated its commitment to the work done by the two accreditation bodies.
"We wanted to help promote the positive aspects of paper and print as part of a sustainability programme that is contrary to the common myth that paper is the major contributor to the demise of the rain forests, which is totally incorrect," he said.
He added that the certifications are increasingly important for customers' credibility.
"Without the accreditations we could sometimes be precluded from certain work," he said.
The £5m-turnover company serves print managers and brokers, along with other printers, and its product range includes reel-to-reel, reel-to-sheet, continuous business forms and B2 sheetfed colour.
Wright said: "The cost to attain these accreditations is not high, but you do have to apply resource and be disciplined and committed both before and after."
The 54-staff business has been focusing on market development to increase its market share and has recruited additional sales and account management staff.
Wright Print Services was established in 1970 and it is a member of the Independent Print Industries Association.
