It has also compiled a list of "crucial" information from the guides which have been turned into posters in a PDF format.

Nigel Wells, joint managing director of WOCG, said that the guides, which have been available for some time in printed format, have been requested by printers in digital format.

The first titles to be published in this format are Roll to Web Processing and Web Break Diagnosis.

Wells added: "The guides contain practical advice on best practices to improve productivity, quality and better problem solving. Over the years we built up a number of best practices and shared these back with the industry.

"We have also taken a relatively unique approach to promote certain aspects that we believe is absolutely key that can be viewed at a glance. The posters are in PDF format and can be downloaded on any size so the printer or educational institute has complete control over how they display the information."
