Jussi Vanhanen, president, UPM Raflatac, said that emerging markets like China and India will be the major consumers of labels. "Around 80% of growth will come from emerging markets. This growth also reflects the shift in global economic power towards the Asian and Latin American countries," said Vanhanen.
Proliner PP 30 is recyclable and ultrathin liner for label stock. This thin ovation offers 20% more labels per roll with same diameter in comparison to glassine liner which results in faster press speed with the same design as compare to glassine liner. Converters are ready to pay money to get rid of non recyclable liner which is seen as an environmental threat. Also, it provides a robust die-cutting platform for label converting especially when it comes to a difficult label shape.
Proliner PP30 is available with a range of marketing leading paper faces, Proliner PP30 brings all the advantages of a thin film liner to high volume paper applications such as food, retail and logistics labelling.
The thinness of Proliner PP30 allows label printers to move from 2,000 to 4,000 meter roll lengths and up to 6,000 running meters in some cases. This is an important step in helping the whole labelling industry move towards longer rolls and more efficient production.
