Tullis Russell adds to Trucard board range

Independent Scottish papermaker Tullis Russell has added to its popular Trucard range with the launch of Trucard Ice Silver Portabio.

The company has teamed up with API Laminates of Stockport to launch the grade, which is a smooth, high-gloss metallised one-side coated board.

It is a combination of Trucard Ice and API's environmentally friendly metallised film, which the company said is "renewable, sustainable, recyclable and compostable".

Tullis Russell marketing director Malcolm Sinclair said: "We are very excited about this joint venture with API Laminates and about introducing such a high-quality and entirely novel product to the luxury packaging market."

The grade is also FSC accredited and made from 100% elemental chlorine-free pulps.
