The University for the Creative Arts personalises prospectuses with Pureprint subsidiary Beacon Press

Beacon Press has been appointed as the digital print partner for the University for the Creative Arts (UCA).

Through the agreement, the Pureprint Group subsidiary is printing and fulfilling a range of personalised prospectuses for postgraduate students at the university.

With around 6,500 students enrolled on more than 80 different courses, UCA is one of the UK's leading providers of specialist art and design education, offering courses in art, design, architecture, media and communication. The 60-80pp pieces replace the university's existing 168pp prospectuses

According to Richard Owers, business development director at Pureprint Group, the HP Indigo-printed documents help cut waste levels and improve the turnaround times.

Each prospectus is tailored by subject area and printed on FSC-stock paper using the company's brace of HP Indigo 5500s.

Eleanor Shotton, marketing services manager for UCA said: "Although we've only just launched our personalised postgraduate prospectus, it has already streamlined our processes.

"The ability to amend details as and when necessary is essential in ensuring we provide the most up-to-date and targeted information to our prospective students."
