The Woolwich, south east London-based business opted for the 23sqm an hour machine to improve the flexibility of its display business.
According to David Duhig, managing director of TG Print & Design, the six-colour wide-format printer will open up new sales channels for the 18-staff business.
He said: "The Anapurna prints on a much wider variety of substrates and can handle rigid material up to 40mm thick so the possibilities of expanding our services were much enhanced."
TG Print & Design has steadily grown its print operation in recent years, increasing turnover from £2.5m in 2010 to nearly £4m at the beginning of 2012.
The addition of the 720 x 1440 dpi printer, which has a list price of £64,995, has enabled the company to print on an increased range of substrates that include glass, mirrors, wood, metal and plastics.
"The Anapurna is an extremely versatile machine and Agfa is a highly professional company. I am sure we will be working with them for many years to come," added Duhig.
