Terascreen, which is co-owned by six shareholders including Caza, will exclusively undertake the distribution and servicing of Grafica's Nano series of semi-automatic screen printers in Europe and Russia.
This comprises the Nano-Print, Nano-Print plus, Nano UV, Nano-Screen Maker 5-in-1, and Nano Sharpener machines that are being marketed as the 'Nano Premier League' portfolio.
Caza said: "The Nano series screen printing systems are genius and clever, clean and cheap.
"Initially, we intend to target to SME companies, but there could be the possibility of introducing these machines to big ones for niche or special applications"
The company plans to ramp up distribution from early next year but does not expect to appoint localised distributors in the near future.
Speaking to PrintWeek, Caza said keeping distribution and service in-house would help the company keep costs down for customers investing in new machinery and replacement parts.
He also confirmed that UK distribution was on the agenda and expected machines such as the Nano-Print Plus to prove popular among customers.
The partnership was struck with Grafica Flextronica managing director Bhargav Mistry, who said the deal would broaden the company's reach.
Mistry said: "With the formation of dealer networks in India, Middle East, US and Europe, Grafica gears up to play a leading role in the screen printing industry. The tie-up with Terascreen is a major breakthrough for our company."
