The Canada-headquartered company, which is a supplier OEM and OEM-compatible spares and consumables to the digital production print and wide-format sectors, said the move was based on projected year-on-year growth in the display graphics sector, along with the repro and signage markets "coming together."
RTI will stock a full range of its ColorMatched brand, high quality, inks and media for aqueous, solvent and UV-curable digital printers.
Peter Barton, business development, RTI, said that inkjet technology is becoming a fact of life in all print disciplines.
He said: "RTI has made this move on the back of many customers requesting that we now stock display graphic products.
"We see our long-term strategy in becoming a reliable single-source provider in the graphics business, along with the other print disciplines."
He added that it is true that print volumes have declined in the toner market, while the display graphics sector is still very healthy in many areas.
The company has four distribution facilities in Canada, the US and Gloucestershire in the UK.
