The site (www.rolandpro.co.uk) enables users to create a profile to detail factors such as their equipment setup, daily print usage, labour costs and sale price per square metre.
By using such parameters, the website calculates the equipment running cost and in turn, the time until each machine pays for itself.
Roland DG's new site is promoting its range of Pro products that includes the AdvancedJet, SolJet and VersaUV printers.
Also featured on the company's site is information on finance options on Roland DG equipment for the rental or purchase of kit in the Pro range.
Brett Newman, head of product management at Roland DG, said the online calculator is a useful tool for those that want to be "reassured about their investment".
He added: "It is also an attractive option for new or potential investors who need to know very accurately how quickly their purchase will earn its keep depending on the inks and RIP they intend to use.
"More often than not it’s a nice surprise how fast that actually is."
