Canon announced the Indian launch of C7010 VP – an upgraded model of the Canon C7000 VP. Avantika Printers based in Delhi NCR is the first Indian digital firm to buy a Canon digital press. Canon’s stall at PrintPack 2011 saw an announcement by Canon and Oce which included the launch of a staggering 53 productlines as part of their combined portfolio in the digital and wide-format segments.
To-date, Canon India has an installed base of 89 machines in its ImagePress digital range in India. It has achieved this in three years. The firm hopes to double the numbers in the next three years thanks to the enhanced product line from Oce.
