The exhibition, which will take place on 26 April at Leeds United's Elland Road Stadium, is targeted at a broad range of disciplines from the communications industry including design, print, branding, advertising, multimedia, printed electronics and QR code technology and SMS marketing.
It is the second time Print Yorkshire has run the event, the first which was held in March 2011 attracted around 40 exhibitors and more than 500 visitors during the course of the day.
Media Marketplace's inclusion in the 2013 industry event calendar comes after Print Yorkshire unsuccessfully applied for a grant through the government's Regional Growth Fund in an effort to promote growth in the print and creative industries across the region.
Print Yorkshire chief executive Robert McClements said the Media Marketplace event was a "physical representation" of the range of businesses that would have benefitted from its bid had it been successful.
McClements said: "This is a perfect reflection of what we tried to do with the bid. It is a powerful snapshot of what it was about and the understanding of the sector that we have.
"The level of enthusiasm and support that we are getting for it reinforces that we were doing something with the right focus."
The event will feature a range of speakers and exhibitors from both large and SME businesses from across the "creative, digital and print industries", including Communisis, HP and Yorkshire label firm Rydale Group.
McClements added: "The event is a fantastic place to find new business opportunities."
