The Walthamstow, London-based business is installing the litho press this week, a move that complements its digital and wide-format battery of equipment.
The company, which is traditionally a Heidelberg house is replacing an ageing MOVP press with the Komori, which the business said would improve flexibility at the 24-hour operation.
Marland Pinnock, director at family-owned Print Expert said the Komori offers faster makeready times, colour consistency and improved productivity at the 12-staff business.
He said: "This investment makes our litho offering 60% more productive than before. We specialise in 24-hour, high quality turnaround for customers and the Komori helps us do that.
"We were running at 7,000 sheets per hour; now with the new press we are running at 16,000 sheets per hour."
The litho press arrives at a time of growth for the London printer, which has nearly tripled its turnover in the past three years.
Print Expert offers a range of products that include stationery, flyers, posters, banners and folders.
