In addition to investments in green technology, the Hampshire-based company now recycles packaging straps, shrink wrap, and uses vegetable inks on its presses.
Phil Payter, PPG founder and managing director, said these measures are expected to increase business by 20%.
He said: "We worked hard with a consultant to ensure that we had a physical audit trail for every single process in the business from staff training and management to maintenance and health and safety with detailed job bags for every piece of work we do."
The 48-staff company has worked with J&G Environmental, and Payter said the company is the only litho printer in Portsmouth to have the green qualifications.
