The rollers are manufactured exclusively for Halm Jet and Winkler and Dunnebier (W&D) envelope overprinting machines and are aimed at any envelope overprinting companies that have Halm or W&D printing presses.
The rollers, which feature OEM compounds, aim to eliminate problems caused by incorrect shore hardness and premature wear.
Platinum Print Supplies managing director Paul Pickering said: "We have information that there are more than 40 printers in the UK which have at least one Halm or W&D press and that some companies have as many as 16 of the presses."
Pricing for the rollers starts at around £36 for a recovered roller for a 15-inch Halm Jet, and goes up to £195 for a water application roller for a W&D press. The company can supply full sets for both presses.
The Halm Jet rollers are available in widths of 15 or 18 inches and the company can supply both recovered and brand new rollers.
Basingstoke-based Platinum Print Supplies, which is also the exclusive UK distributor for Pomeroy’s Mailmaster envelope overprinting blanket, was founded last August.
Pickering said: "Before Mailmaster the printer had to use two blankets to achieve the recommended thickness, but with Mailmaster you can use just a single blanket, which can save up to 50% on blanket costs."
Platinum Print Supplies specialises in roller recovery and the supply of print products to envelope overprinters and label printers worldwide.
