Pira offers guide to digital paper

Commercial consultancy Pira International has launched a major report on The Future of Digital Printing Papers to 2013.

The report, which costs £3,500, identifies key drivers of the market such as advances in digital printing paper technologies, environmental impact and sustainability, and the changing demands from printers.

It provides an in-depth guide to the global market for digital printing papers over the next five years and explains how they are advancing into areas where traditional papers have been the norm.

Pira's Stephen Hill, who is responsible for the report, said it focused on the opportunities and challenges facing digital paper producers and suppliers.

He said: "It provides market forecasts to 2013 broken down by end-use sector, technologies, paper grade and type. It is essential reading."

The report also discusses the "ever-increasing pressure" placed on paper producers to come up with sustainable, environmentally friendly and better-performing products.
