Packaging printer Benson Group will debut its new microwaveable packs and ovenable cartons and the latest additions to its ‘food to go’ product range, which it launched at Packaging Innovations in Birmingham in February.
The firm will also show its recently released luxury Benson Panoramic pack, a clear pack offering a 360-degree view of the contents that allows premium products to be viewed from any angle.
Other new products on show will come from Solutia Packaging, which will unveil its 100% recyclable folding eyewear cases, which are made from paper and lined with telate and scratch papers.
Parkside Flexibles will debut its Rockpockets; protective packaging that offers a lightweight pack for the transport of breakable items in a compact format, by using a vacuum process.
Colour management specialist GMG Color will team up with Epson and specialist packaging design graphics studio Studio404 to show its GMG ColorProof software, which is intended to offer precise and predictable spot colour simulation.
“Packaging Innovations presents us with the perfect opportunity to show the importance and benefits of managing colour, from concept to creation, onto supermarket shelves and into the consumers’ homes,” said GMG Color managing director Toby Burnett.
Meanwhile, Antalis and sister-company Arjowiggins Creative Papers have teamed up with luxury packaging manufacturer Procos to produce the official show bag for Packaging Innovations, which will be produced using KeayKolour paper.
“We’re particularly excited about exhibiting at this year’s show, not least because we’re showcasing one of our many creative papers with the show bag,” said Antalis creative papers product manager Emma Linley.
“And this year the Antalis stand takes on a global theme to reflect the worldwide availability of our brands.”
Other confirmed exhibitors across the two shows include Screaming Colour, The Sherwood Press Group, Royston Labels, Leo Luxe, SACO, Massilly UK, Tesa, Curtis Packaging, Stribbons, Firstan and Papeteries De Montsegur.
The Packaging Innovations learnShops seminars will feature talks from industry figures from Marks & Spencer, Tesco, DHL Supply Chain, Taylors of Harrogate, Mamas & Papas and Kingfisher Group. Other show features will include The Beauty Symposium, Lions’ Lair and The Big Packaging Debate.
The events, which are hosted by tradeshow organiser EasyFairs, will take place at London’s Business Design Centre on 30 September and 1 October.
"Luxury Packaging has more than doubled in size and there are more product launches and innovations on offer than ever before at Packaging Innovations," said EasyFairs UK & Global marketing project manager Shona Thomson.
“The events truly are the place to see the latest technology, products and services on offer in the packaging industry.”
