The initial order for the unit was placed at Newstec, Brighton, in June 2007, and was part of a £3m investment by Mortons Print, a division of Mortons of Horncastle.
The manroland Uniset 75 can print up to 96 pages in full colour and has an output of up to 75,000 copies per hour.
It was initially installed in 2006, but Mortons wanted to expand to allow it to run two different jobs at the same time.
Ian Fisher, managing director of Mortons, said: "While some jobs take all six towers, others do not. The second folder allows us to maximise our available print time, and effectively gives us a second press."
Fisher also used his visit to Drupa to check out manroland's most recent Automatic Plate Loading system for web presses.
Mortons of Horncastle employs more than 200 staff. It was the first newspaper company in Lincolnshire to switch to printing web-offset from letterpress, back in 1968.
It specialises in newspaper printing, and prints titles including Old Bike Mart and Newark Advertiser.
