The machine has multiple feed stations designed for specialised covers and booklet inside pages from separate feed bins.
The DocuMaster MFC also incorporates Morgana’s new DynaTilt technology, which automatically registers each sheet and adjusts the mechanism to ensure an accurate crease position.
The machine features a high definition touch screen unit for settings and any adjustments. It can be used for cover creasings, centre spreads, or all sheets in a book.
Morgana Systems sales manager Ray Hillhouse said: "The MFC sits alongside our DocuMaster Pro product to provide a booklet-making solution for digital printers who regularly need to incorporate litho printed covers, or other book sections, into the final publication.
"The key difference between the DocuMaster MFC and the DocuMaster Pro is that the MFC has multiple feed bins whereas the DocuMaster Pro only has one feed point. DynaTilt technology has made this possible and the final product is a unique all-UK-manufactured machine that solves an often found problem in booklet production."
The product, which will be sold directly by Morgana in the UK, has a list price of around £43,990, depending on the configuration.
Hillhouse added: "We officially launched the Documaster MFC at Graph Expo US, and we have already installed a couple of machines there. We have sold one in the UK so far and will be installing it in December."
The DocuMaster MFC also features alpha numeric memory, so jobs can be stored and named by the operator. They can then be recalled via a job number or by the customer's name.
