The high-profile annual event which transpires once a year on Printer's Day the birth anniversary of Johanes Gutenberg has an array of national and international speakers who will address the gathering. These includes subjects which range from finance to shopfloor to digital and conventional printing.
According to Fred Poonawala, a BMPA committee member and chairman of the summit said : "This one day conference will bring together experts in the industry to speak about, share and discuss various facets of Indian print and analyse them from a growth point of view."
For this, some of the biggest names in the print industry shall address the delegates. These are: Pranav Parikh of TechNova, Dr Rajendra Anayath of Heidelberg Print Media Academy, P Narendra of Pragati – Offset, Packaging & Flexo and S N Venkataraman of ITC.
Other important speakers include: Dr Eduard Neufeld of Fogra, Eugene Cora of Ergo Asia and Andy King of Shuttleworth Systems.
As Faheem Agboatwala, member of Print Summit stated: "The Print Summit 2011 is a power packed learning summit which will keep you riveted in your seat for the day session and will keep you entertained in the evening all the way till dinner. The venue, Tata Theatre, NCPA in Mumbai is the best auditorium in the country and will lend itself to the stature of the conference."
Agboatwala added: "I can guarantee you that no person will leave the event feeling it was not useful or there was nothing that he or she learnt."
Print Summit 2011 will be held at the Tata auditorium which is part of the NCPA complex in Mumbai.
As in the previous edition in 2010, PrintWeek India will be the official media partner for Print Summit 2011.
